Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Mindfulness4dogs, a provider of physical training and consultation services, as well as online courses and consultations. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By accessing and using our services, whether online or in-person, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Services
We offer the following services:
- Physical Training and Consultation: One-on-one or group training sessions, behavior consultations, or assessments conducted in person at our designated locations or at a client’s premises.
- Online Courses and Consultations: Virtual courses and online consultations that clients can access via our online platform.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking:
All bookings for physical training, consultations, and online courses must be made through the Mindfulness4dogs website or by contacting us directly. Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received.
3.2 Payment:
Payment for all services must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment options include credit card, debit card, or other methods as specified on our website.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 No Refunds Policy:
Once a booking is made for any of our services (physical training, consultations, or online courses), no refunds will be provided. This policy is in accordance with New Zealand consumer law, which allows businesses to set clear policies on refunds for services.
4.2 Cancellation by Mindfulness4dogs:
In the rare event that Mindfulness4dogs needs to cancel a session or course (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances), we will offer a rescheduled date or an equivalent service. Clients will be contacted as soon as possible to arrange this.
4.3 Client Cancellation:
- Physical Training and Consultation Sessions: If a client needs to cancel or reschedule a physical training session or consultation, 48 hours’ notice is required. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the session being charged in full, with no reschedule available. Clients are encouraged to ensure they are available for physical services before purchasing.
- No Shows to a Session:
Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice (a “no show”) will result in the session being charged in full. No refunds or rescheduling options will be provided for no shows, as this time has been reserved specifically for you and cannot be reallocated on short notice. Clients are encouraged to ensure they are available for physical services before purchasing. - Online Courses and Consultations: Once access to online course materials or online consultations has been granted, cancellations will not be permitted, unless subscription based, and no refunds will be given.
- Subscriptions: For clients who subscribe to ongoing services, such as membership programs or recurring online courses, normal cancellations can be made at any time before the renewal date. Cancellations will apply to the next billing cycle, meaning that no refunds will be provided for the current billing period. Once cancelled, the subscription will not renew, and the client will retain access to services until the end of the current subscription period.
5. Physical Training and Consultation Sessions
5.1 Client Responsibilities:
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their dog is in good health and suitable for the training or consultation session. Mindfulness4dogs reserves the right to cancel or halt a session if the dog is not in a suitable condition or if there is any concern for the safety of the client, dog, or trainer.
5.2 Health and Safety:
For physical training and consultations, it is important that both the client and dog participate in a safe and controlled environment. Clients must follow all instructions from the trainer and inform us of any health issues, injuries, or behavioral concerns regarding their dog before the session.
6. Online Courses and Consultations
6.1 Access and Usage:
Upon booking, clients will receive access to the online course materials and/or consultation services. These materials are intended for personal use only, and redistribution or sharing of the content is strictly prohibited.
6.2 Technical Requirements:
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment (computer, internet access, etc.) to participate in online courses or consultations. Mindfulness4dogs will not be responsible for technical issues on the client’s side that prevent access to the services.
6.3 Duration of Access:
Online course materials will be available for a set period after purchase, as outlined in the course details. Clients are encouraged to complete the course within the specified timeframe.
7. Liability
7.1 Limitation of Liability:
Mindfulness4dogs will not be held liable for any injuries or damages sustained by the client or their dog during a training session, consultation, or while participating in online courses, except where this is a result of gross negligence on the part of Mindfulness4dogs.
7.2 Force Majeure:
Mindfulness4dogs shall not be responsible for delays or cancellations due to events outside of our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. Privacy
We take client privacy seriously. Any personal information provided during the booking process will be handled in accordance with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Mindfulness4dogs reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes through the contact details provided at the time of booking or via updates on our website.
